This is a superstition I’m willing to accept, <i>if</i> it means we’re done with house purchases for a bit. You’ll remember that we replaced a toilet the day after Christmas, and we replaced our range this past week. Today, it’s the kitchen faucet and sprayer. During Thanksgiving break, I promised NOS I would make whoopie pies for him. Today, I finally got around to it. I might be inclined (after a suitable recovery period) to try another recipe; but, today’s experiment wasn’t an unqualified success.
