Day 99—8 February 2012
With our wicked-powerful stand mixer (Day 7), it seems silly not to make a double recipe of things that can be shared and/or frozen. So, today, I made a double recipe of toffee bars. Still, it wasn’t as easy or time-saving as I had hoped (at the baking stage), and I wasn’t entirely pleased with the result. They were greasier than their chocolate chip cookie counterparts. Luckily, they’re still tasty enough to share. I'll just have to be sure to provide plenty of napkins!
