Busted head
Considering what else this could mean, it’s not so bad, right?! After a fair number of good years of service, NTS broke his bass drum head tonight. And I thought I was going to have trouble coming up with a shot today. . . .

A decent night’s work</b>
In addition to sorting my pieces last night, I finished the frame, most of the lady of the house, and the maid’s face/hat. Coping mechanisms</b>
My Plan B for pain relief includes taking up yoga, and lots of stress management. Much of today, I watched junky television by myself, started a jigsaw puzzle [of one of the reproductions in our dining room—“The Singing Butler,” by Jack Vettriano], and listened to a Chelsea Handler book on CD.
