Day 104—13 February 2012 I’ll have what she’s having! My friend Gail is a talented cook and baker—for fun. At one of her parties, I really enjoyed her dark chocolate cake with salted caramel ganache and salted caramel buttercream frosting. Not only did Gail remember; but, she made a cupcake version for my birthday (and named it after me—I’m honored). So delish!

I wondered how long it would take me to start whining a little about the P365 project. Now we know—I’m not even a third of the way through (that would be Day 122, because it’s leap year). It wasn’t quite 7:00 tonight when I realized that I had yet to take my shot, and I just couldn’t face it. Luckily (?!), it’s raining tonight, which gave me an easy out. Not too long ago, I noticed I had entered the 660s in my Facebook friends. Just for kicks, I’ve been keeping an eye on it since. Don’t panic and defriend me—I assure you that the number fluctuates frequently. [Another reason not to panic: My friends list is not visible to others. My friends only see which friends we share; everyone else remains private.
