Day 203—22 May 2012 Pretty, in theory No matter how old I get—or how much I don’t want them in my yard—I have to admit that I enjoy seeing a big fluffy dandelion. This one graces the bike path near my home.

My sweet "baby" gave me a terrific Mother’s Day celebration—feeding me regularly and watching fun TV. [Poor Tom was stuck on the road behind an accident, on his way to retrieve NOS from college.] This is my gift from the boys. The heart is made from an old cymbal, and the circle is old guitar strings. Typecasting</b>
We had a wicked-awesome day downtown with our friends Don, Steve, and Judy, starting with viewing Don’s MFA thesis project show [a glimpse of which will be its own gallery soon-ish]. We also got to see some cool printing presses and old type sets. We spent the rest of the day chatting, and completely lost track of time. It’s for the birds!</b>
I’ve been enjoying this adorable birdhouse on my walk route. I keep meaning to ask my friend/neighbor Mary for its story; but, I always forget by the time I get home (and get busy with the daily minutiae). If I ever find out, I’ll revise this entry. [Here’s the scoop: Mary reports that Bradley (Adam’s peer) made the birdhouse when he was 5-ish. It’s a particular favorite of hers, too.
