Day 235—23 June 2012 Signs of summer We’ve grilled a few times this season already; but, this was the first day we sat out all afternoon—eating, drinking, and visiting with friends. The inflatabuffet had drinks in it today; but, its intended purpose (in my mind, anyway) is to keep salads and such cold and yummy.

Treasures</b>
As part of NOS’ birthday celebration yesterday, we went to the Friends of the Library’s book sale. This is my take—all for $7. [NOS bought 5 books; DH found 5 books and a Matrix DVD.] I’m super-excited about <i>Treasures of Tutankhamun</i>, which is the catalog of the 1976 exhibit at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. The exhibit was a joint effort between the museum and the University of Chicago, for which my dad was liaison.
