Sweet memories Granny the Great’s Maj Jongg set—25 November 2013 Granny’s 88th birthday would have been the 26th; so, I pulled out her Maj set and built with the tiles the way I did when I was little. I love the look, feel, and sound of them—all of which bring to mind Granny and her “girls” playing away the afternoon. Someday, I’ll actually play the game again.

The Varsity Boys team won its opening meet (all the PHS teams did), in what we expect will prove to be a wonderful final season for Number Two Son, Adam. Argeni (followed by Emil) is one of this year’s captains (along with Adam, Dean, Emil, Eddie, and Graham). This was our favorite shot from the afternoon.
