Snug as a bug in a rug Iris bud at Allerton Park—21 April 2012 Once a grand residence, Allerton Park is now owned by the University of Illinois and used as a meeting and event venue. We first visited as newlyweds, and, a few years later, for the wedding of a coworker of mine. We enjoyed a return visit during Moms Weekend.

Part of our festivities: taking in an Illini Baseball game, as we so enjoyed when I was pregnant with NOS.
